The North Carolina – Louisiana Prostate Cancer Project (PCaP) is the most recent project I’ve worked on, but actually it was also the first project I worked on after coming to EPID. The first project was converting the legacy PCaP public and secure websites from ColdFusion to straight PHP as the ColdFusion server in the School was being retired and not replaced.

This latest project was to create a more modern up-to-date public web site for PCaP. The old site had become dated and was a mixture of a pure public site and a view of public information from the secure site. This created somewhat of a configuration management problem as the management of the site had to deal with two copies of everything.

The new site is better organized, cleaner looking, and better performing. Take a look:
